Wills, Probate and Trusts

A Will is an extremely important document as without it the Intestacy Rules set by the government dictate who will inherit your estate. Within a Will you can set out your wishes and intentions and ensure that the correct people inherit. You can also make provision for the care of minor children, undertake tax planning and couples can utilise trusts to protect assets against future care fees.

We would advise all clients to make Lasting Powers of Attorney. These important documents allow you to appoint someone you trust to deal with your property, financial affairs and health and welfare decisions should you become unable to manage alone due to age, illness or loss of mental capacity. We would be happy to assist with the creation and/or registration of Lasting Powers of Attorney.
